Apply before you Oil Absorbs all hidden moisture...the main cause of teak turning dark. Neutralizes remaining cleaning chemicals. Blends with oils for deeper, longer lasting protection. Directions “As The Pro’s Do It” Clean teak thoroughly using Amazon’s One-Step Cleaner. Begin by wetting area to be cleaned with water, including surrounding areas that may come in contact with cleaner, such as fiberglass. Scrub or agitate as needed using soft scrubbing pad. Rinse with fresh water. Repeat if necessary. Let Dry Completely-Overnight if Possible. Apply Amazon’s Teak Prep to help eliminate dark teak (caused by moisture remaining in wood) or white spots (caused by remaining chemicals that dry in the fiber of the wood). Simply brush or wipe Teak Prep on and let dry 1 to 2 hours. Teak Prep evaporates remaining moisture and dissipates chemicals used to clean teak, or any wood surface, before oiling or varnishing. Apply Amazon’s Golden Teak Oil as fallows: Blend 25% Teak Prep with 75% Teak Oil for first two coats to maximize penetration and preservation. Wipe mixture on using a clean rag-never a brush-and let sit 15 minutes. Wipe off any oil remaining on wood surface with clean rag. Wait 15 minutes between coats. Apply final (3rd) coat of oil the next day using oil full strength for best results. Wait 15 minutes, then WIPE OFF EXCESS OIL.
